Important Fitment Information

This starter uses the 4.084" registry and 3/4" ring gear depth configuration. For 164-tooth applications, it is intended for automatic transmissions.

It is not designed for 164-tooth 3-speed or 4-speed manual transmission applications requiring the larger 4.130" registry and 3/8" ring gear depth starter configuration.

Engine Compatibility: Fits many Ford 289, 302/5.0L, 351W/5.8L and 351C engines equipped with a 164-tooth automatic-transmission flexplate, 4.084" starter registry and 3/4" ring gear depth.
